Click-To-Click Move Demo

This technique was developed back in 2008 to explore an alternate way for users to move around items in a list. It was created with smartphones in mind, but could also be used in large screen web applications where dragging and dropping is complicated by a complex UI.

Tap/click on the text of an item to manipulate it. When you opt to move an item, location targets will appear in the list, and you simply click / tap the target that matches where you want to move the item.
